Beans and Greens Cafe

Processed with VSCOcam with f2 presetIt’s a fair trek from Brisbane but its definitely worth it! Ipswich and its surroundings have sure hit the jackpot with Beans and Greens, an all organic and wholesome cafe, opened 9 months ago!

While they are only new on the scene, they certainly have a passion and knowledge about health and organic produce, which is very clearly reflected in their beautiful food and drinks menu!

I visited recently to try their latest addition to the menu – my all time favourite Acai bowl! Flawlessly made with organic Amazonia Acai, organic coconut water and organic banana, it was a delicious blend! The toppings were equally mastered with the perfect combination of crunch from the house made pale granola, the modish chew fro organic cranberries and the freshness from the organic and local fruit.

If you are local, or just stopping by on your way, the Acai is a must! While you are there though, you should definitely treat yourself to some healthy goodies from the display cabinet! The house made bliss balls and muffins are very happily accompanied by some of my favourite Sol Breads goodies like the GF brownie and honey and nut slice!

There is incredible savoury goodness also, picture house made and nutrition packed salads, organically filled sandwiches such as chicken and falafel wraps, freshly made open sandwiches and even some mushroom aranchini from Sol too!

Toby’s Estate coffee is used to roll out what appears to be the town’s favourite coffee, however we opted for the Prana Chai Masala Blend, made on my favourite Pure Harvest Organic Almond Milk!

The interior is designed for a very relaxed and chilled vibe, available as the perfect escape for a healthy smoothie, juice, lunch or treat this summer season!
