ABSINTHE is an adult-themed cocktail of circus, burlesque and vaudeville that has hit Brisbane’s King George Square this June. Not one for the easily offended, ABSINTHE is an amazing live performance in the famous Spiegeltent and is jam-packed with jaw-dropping, breath-taking acts that get up-close and very personal!
Walk through the fairy light garden, into the magical Spiegeltent and mentally prepare yourself to be blown away! One second you’ll be holding your breath with sweaty palms, eyes wide open, the next you’ll be laughing out loud and applauding the extraordinary bodies doing the most extraordinary things. Yes, they defy the expectations of gravity and yes, they bend and twist in the most ‘how-did-they-do-that’ sort of ways.
It’s the sort of show that will inspire you to go to the gym the next day, wish you practiced gymnastics since you were a kid and remind you that mobility training is super important – come at me flexibility!
According to the Huffington Post –“If you only see one show in your entire life, make it ABSINTHE.”
It appears that Brisbane is quite fond of the show with everyone getting aboard the ABSINTHE ropes. Such demand has caused an extension of another two weeks of performance! So its not too late, you can still get tickets!
