It’s a sunny Sunday and you’re researching the perfect place for brunch with the girls. Well, look no further than the recent addition to Brisbane’s southside, Little Clive. With a menu that is full of table favourites and also includes fresh green pressed juice (um, YUM!), Little Clive is sure to impress even your fussiest of friends.
Are you an avo on toast girl? Or do you prefer your kale with a side of perfectly poached eggs? Well Little Clive has both PLUS so much more! Utilising fresh and local ingredients (where possible) across their impressive menu, you’re guaranteed to have a beautiful morning out that you won’t have to use one of your ‘cheat’ meals for (yippee!).
However, if you are feeling like something a little naughty (yes, we mean #cheatmeal)…while it doesn’t tick the ‘greens’ box that we all know and love, the French toast with caramelised banana doesn’t only sound ridiculously tasty, but is that lovely sweet breakfast option that will curve any cravings (plus takes an impressive Instagram pic – so be sure to snap happy if one of your friends orders it).
Speaking of their beautiful food, Little Clive, Head Chef, James Lander (@iveprobably) is all about making real, honest food that utilises in-season, quality ingredients with minimal waste. So when you visit this southside Brisbane café in Annerley, you will not only get a dish that tastes amazing, but is also lovingly plated and looks like an artistic picture on a plate – seriously, take a look at the pics in this blog post, this chef has an eye for design (and photography as it seems, as he takes a lot of the pics for the Little Clive Instagram account – very cool)!
So we all know that green juice is our jam at KBSugarfree, so Little Clive gets three BIG Green Heart emjois from us. For some serious food porn, check out Little Clive’s hashtag #littleclive (it’s a feast for your eyes – not all healthy, but oh-so-pretty).
